In early 2010-2011 I heard about a delivery of pizza across the world, paid for by a little known cryptocurrency called bitcoin. I was fascinated, I looked online and followed it ever since. My gut was to buy a couple thousand Rands worth, it was worth nothing at that point. The biggest mistake I made, seeking external approval.
So often we seek other peoples approval to do something, we seek opinions from others on whether we are making the right or wrong decision. There is a difference between seeking advice and seeking approval, the one informs us, the other lets you think that they think we are smart.
Always seek advice and reassurance on your choices, but at the end of the day, you must make your own decision. If its wrong, well then pivot, learn and move on.
If not, who knows what could happen.
