We seldom appreciate what we have until it is no longer there, very cliché, but true.
Health, wealth and speed is often wasted on the young, who have not yet developed the mindset to understand that they are wasting it.
On the other hand, wisdom, understanding and patience are virtues earned for those of a specific age group. Along with this experience is the fact it often comes with a short temper, the idea of I know better, because I have more experience.
This can often cause the down fall of small businesses that have been operating for many years, the expectant mentality that my old clients will continue to support me regardless. The understanding that things change, that there is more competition from younger, faster business owners can cause some difficulty, never mind the fact that there are many new customers who value good service.
Be grateful of your clients and always show gratitude.
