Way to long ago I was unemployed and decided to start a tree felling and garden service business in the Durban, Glenwood and Durban north areas. Due to my absolute stubbornness and refusal to quit my business grew into a successful tree felling business operating in the greater Durban area, focusing on the Glenwood, Morningside and Durban north areas.
After 26 years, my business has expanded into the Hillcrest, Kloof and outer west areas as well as Durban and Durban North where we have an extensive client base from domestic to corporate and large construction. Charlies Skip Hire was started in 2018 after Charlies Treefelling realized that there was a value added benefit for our clients by adding a mini skip hire business for refuse and rubble removal. As our treefelling service is often used by building contractors, who would require the use of a mini skip to clear sites of rubble.
It also became very evident that within our own services being the garden service and treefelling service, the mini skips were ideal for our small job to medium sized jobs.
